Yes, it was the House that Rocks in Narragansett RI yesterday while doing pop bys to see clients yesterday, when one of their neighbors asked me if I'd come down to his home down the street.  Okay, so I'll be good and stop by and what a surprise...a little tilted perhaps was the house or I'll say small cottage.  See rock pilings, stantions or modified jury rigging use to be the order of the day in building cottages here. It all began today with over 3700 runners, walkers and wheel chair entrants competing on the 10 mile course to kick off the 39th annual Blessing of the Fleet in Narragansett, RI on July 23-24th.  This event began as a ceremony aeons ago to ask for divine protection for the fisherman who everyday risk their lives fishing out of the port of Galilee, RI and it has become a huge fund raising event that benefits the community as a whole. The 10 mile road race on Friday kicked off the weekend event. In addition, the Seafood Festival attended by almost 30,000 people each year is a major part of the weekend event. It's the 28th Narragansett RI Art Festival this weekend June 26 & 27 at Veterans Park in bay side Narragansett RI 02882.  This is a 'true' art festival with no craft vendors allowed.  With over 85 artists participating, the weekend's weather looks great and is complemented by the Quonset Air Show in the skies over head.  It is not an event to be missed.
