Appreciate this Rhode Island View in all its hazy splendor...when one is able to grab the camera and catch a Narragansett Bay view from North Kingstown mainland to Jamestown (Conanicut Island) passing on to Newport....now that helps me make a great day.  Almost as good as a goey hot fudge sundae.  The Newport bridge in the distance behind this foggy blanket cover gives way to this amazing view.  Soft and subtle I would say and one that you might catch quickly while driving by and say why didn't I stop and take that picture.  Darn!  Make that stop every time... Septic (OWTS) Systems -Keep the Filter Clean.  It is a must do job for any homeowner who does not have connected sewer - be aware that the newer OWTS (onsite wastewater treatment systems) have a filter in one of the two drop cover holes in the septic tank.  Well let me tell you it is not a chore I will do or will most homeowners.   Sorry...plus a homeowner's concern is that they do not really know what they are doing the first time they need to remove the septic filter and clean it out.  Hire a professional, watch the cleaning process and ask the right questions which will enable you to do it in future years. No sitting ducks here.  No, momma made sure she sheltered, protected and guided her ducklings along the pond's edge when I appeared.  It is the advent of spring that brings this geese pair back to the same spot and pond every year for at least the last 6 years in North Kingstown RI.  Every year the ducklings hatch in the same location protected by the two parents.  They stay very close to the road here which always worries me with the driving fanatics on this road. North Kingstown Food Pantry Success Story - When Realtors Make it Happen. On a cool Saturday day all the vim and vigor of my real estate team was present at 6:30 a.m. - the crew was hauling out the mountains of furniture, knick knacks, antiques, glassware, toys & even a sail boat (I'm not kidding!) for a good cause.  We had a whopping great fundraiser for the North Kingstown Food Pantry and I love it when I get my fellow realtors to make a great charity event happen...and be successful.
