Sandhurst, described as a "cadillac" of a neighborhood, was built in the early '60's and still holds the character of the founding neighborhood. No two houses are alike in Sandhurst, mostly brick, one level homes with a few split levels, and a few two story homes. Some homes in Sandhurst have been stylishly renovated, while others have not. No grand entrance, no ditches. Homeowners dues are voluntary $12 annually. Close to I-26, Boeing, Mt. Pleasant, James Island, downtown Charleston.
