This is the most unprofessional law enforcement outfit I have ever encountered.   My wife and I decided to go to Isle of Palms and Stay at Wild Dunes.  We rode bicycles in from Wild Dunes into Isle of Palms. We were hot and sweaty and stopped at the BP station in the middle of town and got some Lifewater, Diet Coke, and 1 Michelob Ultra.  We had no place to sit so we just sat on their side of the gas station.  An Isles Palms police officer drives up and proceeds to tell me he should lock me up and take me to jail and how stupid I am (I am not kidding and I am a 44 year old business owner, married father of two)  He proceeded to tell me how stupid I was 4 times threatened to lock me up twice..  He told the other Officer Johnson who then drove up to write me a "STUPID TICKET' The ticket i...

Recently I took a jaunt over to Isle of Palms, South Carolina, to meet with an agent from Handsome Properties. She wanted to show me some of the upscale Isle of Palms SC real estate she has just listed in hopes that some of the clients I pick up real estate for would be interested. I definitely found more than a couple of the Isle of Palms SC real estate parcels that will be of interest to some of my clients without a doubt. My favorite time to walk the beach (Isle of Palms) is the month of October and November.  It is still warm and sunny.  There is still always a great breeze that pushes you back after you've walked or ran against it.  But these two months offer something wonderful... a quiet beach with lots of room!  Less people, less dogs, less sand castle holes you have to watch out for, etc... I guess it sounds a bit rude of me.  But there is something wonderful with having so much of the beach to myself!  I caught a glimpse of these chairs stacked up for the winter today on my walk and had to stop and take a picture.  Everything has a season and a reason.  Sometimes it is time to rest.

Isle of Palms, SC One of the many great things about living in the Metro Charleston SC Area is the numerous beautiful beaches in the area.  The main shore of the Charleston metro is protected by barrier islands.  These barrier islands wrap around the coastline of South Carolina making for the great beaches we enjoy. One of the more popular beaches is the Isle of Palms.  The Isle of Palms is a barrier island just to the east of Mount Pleasant.  Isle of Palms has a small town fill to it with several small businesses.  Most of the island is filled with beach homes that are sometimes used for primary residence, but most likely used as seasonal beach rentals, or time shares.   The beach area has a lifeguard area during the summer near the County Park.  The County Park has some great resource...
