Last night we finally made it out to see the lights at James Island County Park.  It's a sight to see and an annual tradition for most locals.  Thousands of lights, Santa Claus, Marshmellows on sticks and big fire pits to roast them, climbing wall and merry go round, Christmas themed huge sand scruptures, and the schools door size Holiday Card competition.   It was in the high 60's last night so it was a prefect night to be out enjoying the park.   James Island Real Estate News: Foreclosed Homes Could Top 1 Million More than 1 million American households are likely to lose their homes to foreclosures as lenders work through their massive backlog of borrowers who have fallen behind on their home loans. In the first six months of 2010, nearly 528,000 homes were taken over by lenders. Some of these foreclosures come from the James Island and Charleston Real Estate inventory. James Island Real Estate News: 1 in 5 homes sold in 1st quarter was in foreclosure 1 in 5 homes sold in South Carolina in the first three months of 2010 were a foreclosure with an average discount of 21%.  According to a RealtyTrac report, this figure is still below the national average in which one in three homes sold was in foreclosure and in which buyers received an average of 27% off. Once again, we had the privilege to assist a first time home buyer with the purchase of a great home. We have been working with our client for a while and after multiple offers, we were able help him get a great deal on 1505 Kentwood Circle, James Island SC.
