The Workings of A United Family I decided to take a different approach for the video contest. My first thought was to video the tree farm operation, but never catch the workers on the tractors. Also, I am a very amateur photographer. Father's Day was special and I made this video -- it shows a loving family sharing. Hopefully, I won't get kicked out of the contest.   This is the man that I fell in love with over 46 years ago --- he is the father of my 2 children and grandfather of 3. I am so excited to have a red bird nest in a ligustrum on our porch.  I have tried and tried to get a good photo without disturbing the occupant. I finally got one yesterday --- after I cropped and zoomed, the Female's head shows coming out of the nest.     This is such a beautiful site.  We will patiently await the births. What is happening to rates? That is a very good question and one I will attempt to answer without boring you to death.     As everyone knows by now we have entered into historic times. The Federal Government created a TARP plan for Banks, involved in the Auto Industry, have taken unprecedented steps into the housing industry, and yes finally taken a lead role in the MBS (Mortgage Back Securities) market. Why? Well, not so long ago MBS was virtually worthless....not because they were no good. It was because the buyers, foreign investors, in fact almost all buyers of MBS left the market. Then Treasury Secretary Paulson and Fed Chairman Bernanke saw this problem and took action.
