  Road work continues on Concord Road in Brentwood TN     The repaving project continues on the stretch between Franklin Road and Wilson Pike and is likely to continue throughout the month of July. All work is taking place in the evenings. Expect lane closures and thus delays when using Concord Road at night. The traffic signals at General MacArthur Drive and Lipscomb Drive will also be impacted and could result in longer red lights. Milling of the road is completed so the road is somewhat bumpy. I smelled tar last night while driving through so they must have started the repaving.   Belated 4th of July Fireworks in Brentwood TN   Due to the overwhelming amount of rain we had on July 4th, the fireworks show at Crockett Park was cancelled. The show was rescheduled for last night, July 14th. My family had an invitation from prior clients to watch the fireworks from their home that I sold to them. The listing agent had mentioned on the MLS that ‘you can watch the fireworks from your backyard’ and even though that occurs only once a year, it was a selling point. 4th of July in Brentwood TN!   The annual Firecracker 5K race will be held in Maryland Farms with runners starting and finishing at the YMCA on Maryland Way.  The race begins at 7:00 am on July 4. A Kid’s Fun Run is scheduled for 8:00 am. Yes, you may have missed out on Boomerang and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and The Devonshires but you should make plans for this Sunday, June 23, to experience The WannaBeatles. The remaining concert schedule: June 30 Bicho Brothers, July 4 The Kadillacs & Fireworks, and July 14 The Entice Band. No, it isn't too late. Commonly referred to as the ISC, Williamson County Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood TN is a state-of-the-art facility.  I was first introduced to this facility when my kids joined the local homeschool swim team, the MTHEA Makos. You have to enter the facility to really appreciate all that it has to offer. There is a 50-meter Olympic competition/training pool with attached shallow water lap/teaching pool.  The Williamson County Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood TN is used for competition events so it is equipped with a dual DALTRONICS scoring system.
