(Not So) Speechless Sunday...The House This is a home I captured yesterday on a listing appointment out in the county near South Holston Lake. I've driven by it thousands of times over the years and finally decided to go back and take a photo. I bet there were many a quite night spent on that front porch telling stories about times gone by! I believe two sister school teachers lived here....I don't believe they ever married....you could see them always working in the yard when I would drive by here in my much younger days. Even when the house started down hill and you thought no one lived there you would see smoke coming from the chimney letting you know that life was still inside! Hope you have a great day! What Does The Front Door Of Your House Say? I often notice the doors to homes as I'm driving through neighborhoods and wonder what that door says about the home and the home owner. I think a lot of us just never really think about it....but it could say a lot of things to a lot of different people! Is it inviting? Does it say....Come on in? Does it say.... We live in a bad area? (Bars on the door) Does it say....We don't give to charities? (I  actually found a note on a front door one time that said...."We don't give to charities"! Does it say....Go away? Does it say....We love our home? Does it say ....We celebrate Christmas year round...that's why the wreath is still up in June! Having Some Problems...Start Back At Square One! Sometimes I think we all run through stretches in life where things just seem to not go the way we plan. I think we all need to just step away sometimes and start back at SQUARE ONE! Webster says that a SQUARE has four right angles....I take that to mean when we start back at Square One.... and re-think our plan and see all the RIGHT ANGLES then we can automatically put ourselves back on track! As soon as you wake up know that you are blessed to be alive....You need to realize that there are a lot of people who aren't as fortunate as you are.  Appreciate the smallest things you usually take for granted. Pray...Say a little prayer to start your day...It might be the best thing you do all day! Make your bed....They say the best way to start your day is to accomplish something as soon as possible! He would focus on one particular topic during his seminar and it was....MESS EQUALS STRESS! Whether you believe it or not every time you jump in that car to go show property or to list a home or no matter what profession your in if it's a mess I guarantee you that subconsciously it is stressing you out!
