Franklin real estate - I have stopped listening to the news, and reading the paper. and I feel a lot better because of it. The media puts a lot of drama into any bad news they can find, so it always seems like the world is about to end. I stopped watching earlier this year when it became apparent they most of the networks were doing everything in their power to sway the election. I believe that the public should here unbiased reporting, but I don't know where it would be. Does the media control what I do as a realtor? Of course not, they have no idea what goes on in Tennessee, or in most cases anywhere besides New York or Los Angeles. Why should I let them influence my life, business, or customers. Chestnut Bend is a great Franklin TN neighborhood.  Located adjacent to Franklin High School, the community has underground utilities, pool, and a walking trail along Franklin's Harpeth River.   Homes are between 3000 and 4600 square feet and average sales are between $478,000 and $600,000.  There are still some great deals but Chestnut Bend , like all of Franklin Tennessee is on a definate upswing.  As far as your buying power, the interest rates are still low so now is the time.  Prices are currently well better than the last update on this post in 2008 level, but with the rates the lowest in years, I expect an uptick.   If you had your eye on this great Williamson County Tennessee Neighborhood, there may be something there for you now. My neighbor was out in her yard on Christmas Day exclaiming there is an eagle in her front garden.  I thought, eagle, in Franklin, Tennessee?  Now here in Carriage Park we have some interesting wildlife and especially water fowl.  The pond behind Carnton Plantation and Confederate Cemetery  (Battle of Franklin) is in my back yard and we have more than enough wild life, perhaps you have read about out beavers,  but there is more than enough geese, occasional heron, and some large white birds that I never got close enough to identify. Why do I say Fieldstone Farms is family friendly, because that's where I raised my family.  My kids grew up there where they made quality friends and are proudly Franklin TN, Williamson County public school products, and college grads too.   When I moved from upstate NY to Tennessee, existing homes or as my Realtor called them "pre-loved homes" were hard to come by.  My kids were used to an urban neighborhood and I thought that an established neighborhood would make the move easiest for them.  I took a chance, on one of the many new subdivision in Franklin at that time and never regretted it.   Since we moved into our new home in 1994, Fieldstone Farms has expanded to boh sides of Hillsboro Rd.  Hunters Bend and Kindercare schools were both built, the soft ball fields, as were the conve... 12/21/2008

I am really excited - I've teamed up with 3 other area stagers to teach some classes on staging.  Our market is, of course, realtors, but also home owners and sellers.  We're hoping this will not only be really educational but some great networking as well.  We're inviting a lot of the professionals we work with on our projects to join in the fun.
