Amy Shrader from Lender's Title & Escrow, LLC was my Special Guest on Open house with Dena this past Saturday, and she shared her perspective on the usefulness of title insurance in a time of so many short sales and foreclosures.  Her discussion was very informative for the listeners to WCRK Hometown Radio.  It was great to have Tim Crews back to do the show after two weeks without him, and I offer a special thanks to Amy Shrader for taking the time and putting forth the effort to be my guest on the show.  After several shows focused on helping Sellers with the challenges they are facing, I wanted to offer some information to buyers as well.  On Saturday I talked about the New Rules of Mortgages and how to get yourself in a position to qualify for one.  There are strict rules for the am...

How long does it take to listen to all you messages each day.  How many times have you had to listen over and over again to get the information you need.  And, how many lengthy (yet not urgent) messages have you endured to find the Very Urgent message at the end?  This is no longer my problem, ever!  In fact, I can stay on track with my messages even while in a meeting with my phone on silent.  Even if I leave my phone in the car while I'm working in the office. How? Phonetag. Saved by Phonetag! Over one year a go, I subscribed to a service that changed my lifestyle in ways that all agents want.  This service made it possible to never listen to a another recorded message again!  It's simple, your cell phone messages are transcribed into print and emailed to you.  This means you can read...

Certified Residential Appraiser, Thomas Bivens was my Special Guest on Open house with Dena this past Saturday, and his perspective on the market and home values was informative for the listeners to WCRK Hometown Radio.  It was very enjoyable to do the show with Ed Arnold, and I offer a special thanks to Thomas for taking the time and putting forth the effort to be my guest on the show.  First I wanted to continue giving homeowers who are selling in this market some information about how to compete in this market.  After reviewing the local Lakeway Area Multiple Listing Service, I found that there were a staggering 111 homes for sale in Hamblen County in the 200K to 300K price range.  And that 99 of those were between 205K and 300K.  What's more amazing and relevant, is that over the l...
