New Nashville Baseball Field Still on Track   The site plans for the new Nashville Sounds baseball stadium have been released, showing the city’s expected construction in and around the new field. Located in the city’s popular Germantown neighborhood, the stadium will take up residence where Nashville’s first baseball stadium once resided. Bringing Nashville’s Baseball History Home The last game played at Nashville’s Sulphur Dell Ballpark was in 1963, and the stadium, which seated up to 7,000, was finally demolished in 1969.
