You need to pump your septic tank.It's true, You need to pump your septic tank.  I have heard stories through the years about how septic tanks take care of their selves.  The good bacteria eats the bad bacteria...blah blah blah.  There is some truth to this, however, your septic tank still needs to be maintained and taken care of.  Every 5 years is the rule of thumb.  And another thing, don't buy all those fancy concoctions on the market for your septic tank.  You are just throwing your money away.  Also, the three worst things you can put down your commode are baby wipes, facial wipes, and dental floss.  Wow, I did not know this.  Three septic tank issues this month.I've had my share of septic tank issues.  I'm on a first-name basis with the guys at Hills Septic.  I'm glad I am too.  T... 06/18/2022

Love this place!  Beverly's Stain Glass studio in Elizabethton Tennessee is a just a fun place to spend a few good hours, or all day!  It is located on Broad street on the main strip in Elizabethton Tennessee.  Her hours follow the school schedule, if the schools are closed, so is Beverly! Makes sense to me. Time to pick your pumpkin out and your fall decorating. This new Pumpkin barn has opened it's doors September 13, 2014 and boy are you in for a treat!  It's wonderful. What a great day it was on the lake yesterday.  The longest day of the year and weather was iffy!  However, our day on the lake ended up being perfect.  Instead of our planned picnic, (it was pouring down rain for 2 hours before we hit the boat) we ended up going to The Captains Table Hampton Tennessee.  and enjoying a leisurly lunch before heading out to the stormy looking sky.  By the time we reached the marina, it was gorgeous, and it stayed that way for the 4 hours we spent on the lake....and then the clouds started to roll in!  Great day on the lake on Watauga Lake Butler Tennessee. 06/22/2014

Laurel Fork Falls Hampton Tennessee is a great place to hike in Northeast Tennessee.  It is so beautiful!!! The water falls are really terrific.  Enjoy this video of some of my favorite parts of the hike.   What a wonderful way to kick off Memorial Day weekend!  We packed up our picnic lunch, our dog lunch, including dog bisquits, and headed out for an afternoon at Laurel Fork Falls in Hampton Tennessee.  Laurel Fork Falls connects with the Appalachian trail and is just a beautiful place to enjoy nature...and the dogs!  Jake and Lucy had a great day and also got some good swimming, and stick chasing in.  Oh the life of a dog.  Must love it!!!!   05/25/2014
