 Aledo  ISD, Homes and Info Aledo Tx History The small community of Aledo Tx was first settled  by  farmers and railroad workers along the Clear Fork Valley of the Trinity River a few miles West of Fort Worth, an area known as Medera.  Most of the people moved to the valley when the Texas & Pacific Railroad brought a line through in 1879  connecting Fort Worth and Weatherford in Parker County. Aledo Tx was first a coal and water refueling station and was the first stop in Parker County for west-bound trains Aledo Tx became known as Parker Station.  However, when mail marked "Parker County" found its way out of the mail cart, the U.S. Post Office directed the small community to come up with a distinct name.  So the loose knit community came together and  named the settlement in 1882, for...

If The Price Is Right, It'll Sell It used to be "location, location, location" was what sold real estate.  In today's market, for the most part, price will determine how fast or if a property will sell at all.  The best marketing strategy in the current market of declining prices is to price your property ahead of where the market is today.  Yes, I said PRICE YOUR HOME AHEAD OF THE MARKET! While national homes sales slipped 22-28% in the South and Western US according to National Association of Realtors® for January, the latest numbers available, home sales remain strong in Aledo ISD.Aledo ISD home sales volume as reported to NTREIS for February 2007 totaled $4,542,190 or an average $ 267,188 per home.  Aledo ISD home sales for February 2008 totaled $4,867,614 for an average $286,330 per home- an increase over the same period last year of per home of $19,142.  The actual number of homes sold for February remained the same for both time periods.Meadow Park Estates subdivision was the most popular with 4 homes sold followed by Willow Park Village with 2 homes sold for the month.  The most expensive home for February was sold in Stone Creek Farms.There are currently 253 Home...
