Jesus turned water into wine and therefore, we enjoy the fruits of His labor. As we say in the South, Yes and Amen! We came across Grapes to Wine a year ago when our dear friends introduced us to the great, local wine shop so close to home.  Dan and Hazel Adams are the owners of Grapes to Wine in Bartonville, TX and we couldn't be happier with such a quality local wine shop with a great selection of wines from regions around the world. Dan recently retired from a career in the golf industry to take a love of wine and turn it into a new focus.  The Bartonville Town Center has seen its ups and downs but Grapes to Wine has single-handidly revitalized this shopping center.   With a large selection of wines from larger, well-known vineyards all the way to boutique wineries, you can't go wron...

There is a small restaurant in Bartonville, literally across the street from Lantana, called Andrew's. I've been in to eat several times and it hasn't ever been very crowded... but I don't know why! The staff at Andrew's is extremely friendly, and the home-cooked meals are delicious! A little secret is that they are ready and willing to prepare breakfast at any time of the day, so when you want eggs & pancakes and don't feel like driving down to Highland Village to eat at IHOP, there's an option right in the neighborhood. If you're in the mood for dinner, whatever you get make sure you try the fried green beans on the side. I loved them! I'm a huge fan of eating where you live, which makes Andrew's a great choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Lantana and Bartonville.

Last year Bartonville ,Texas started Free Movie Night.  It is located across from the west entrance of Lantana on FM 407.  You need to bring your own chair  or blanket to sit on and the movie starts at 8:30.  The movie dates are June 7th and 21st, July 12 and 26th, and August 9th.  Go early because the food is great!  There's Andrew's, Italian Cafe and Enrique's!  Yum Yum.   One more important thing...NO COOLERS ALLOWED. See you there!
