Today we had a Keller Williams Office Meeting at our listing on 7752 Mountain Trail.  Beautiful older home sitting on just under 11 acres close to I-10 but you would never know it.  But more about that later.  What I wanted to tell you was what was shared with us by Ron Warden, one of our city council members and also a financial advisor for Edward Jones.  This morning Ron let us in on some of the future plans for Boerne, which I am sure some of you have already noticed like new sidewalks on the major thoroughfares, the skate park on Adler and the start of the Building of our new 30,000 s.f.     I was driving through an unfamiliar neighborhood yesterday to check on a listing and just had to take this picture.  I've seen some crazy "yard art" over the years, but this one takes the cake! Couldn't think of what the surveillance camera was for though. Maybe to catch the trespassing deer on tape?  Send them a warning ticket?  3 warnings and you'll be the next one on the sign?    The Hill Country Council for the Arts invites you to JOIN IN  A CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS!  On SATURDAY you will be able to see LONGHORNS in Boerne!     There will be an unveiling of  a "Monumental Longhorn" by Texas artist Robert Summers at 7:30 pm at the "Boerne Stage" (back of Main Plaza, in front of the Ye Kendall Inn).  PUBLIC IS VERY WELCOME!  Through the generosity of the Dallas non-profit, Texas Trees Foundation, the bronze sculptures and four bronze maquettes, will be loaned for three months, from the August installation date, through the end of November 2010, to introduce monumental scale public art to this community.    Fundraising for acquisition of public art began several months ago and ideally, the bronze sculptures, with the addition of a trail boss, black cutter or vaq... 08/28/2010

The Kendall County Fair supplies home grown fun in a Carnival, Rodeo and Livestock Show as well as Homestead Heritage Exhibits. It also supplies multitudes of food booths, craft booths, live music, clowns, children's activities and much more. Each evening is capped with a dance with a variety of bands and dance music.
