Clear Lake TX Real Estate Market Report for First Quarter 2017   A look at the Stats  There were 115 homes sold in Clear Lake City during the 1st quarter of 2017 compared to 173 homes sold last quarter. This number is slightly down from 127 last year during this same time.   Average days on the market is up from 53.04 days during the last 3 months of 2016 to 65.46 days on the market the 1st quarter of 2017. The average days on the market is up from the same time last year and up from any  quarter in 2016.   The average price per square foot for homes in Clear Lake City rose from 107.18 last quarter to 110.35 the 1st quarter of 2017. Bay Glen home sales had a  good month in December with sold homes selling within an AVERAGE of 28 days after going on the market.  There are currently only 3 active listings on the market with 2 properties under contract or pending for sale (as of January 2, 2015).  There were 5 completed sales during with an AVERAGE days on market of approximately 28 days, and an AVERAGE sold price of 95% of list price.  One of the 5 closed homes was a foreclosure and sold for well below list with one home needing "some TLC" and sold below list.  Current list prices for active properties range from approximately $189,900 to $226,900 (as of January 2, 2015).
