A restaurant review of Cici’s Pizza?  Yes, that’s right.  Hey, if you read my previous review of a local restaurant here in Coppell you know by now that I am not a food critic by any means.  But I was thinking that the bistros, cafes, and fine dining establishments throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area get write ups all of the time, so how about the local franchise in a community getting kudos once in awhile.  So Cici’s Pizza, this one’s for you! It is great when Fall finally comes. August's heat is our trade off for mild winters.  Fall's pleasant weather stretches all the way up to Christmas sometimes in our area.  It is our opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Since I have an outdoors-loving kid, we often head down to the local creeks and woods.  He loves to pick up sticks, throw rocks in the water and generally just wade through any mud available. This creek is in Coppell, on the north side of town.  We were short on rain in June and July, but lately have made up for it and most local creeks are flowing nicely.  It is so pleasant to just sit and listen to the water rushing over the rocks.  I am looking forward to plenty more of this great fall weather, although it is drizzling rain today. Wondering what "new" construction might be coming to Coppell, Texas? Everyone says we are "built out", but it appears that the city has actually approved several areas for new home contruction! One developement is on the southeast corner of Denton Tap and Sandy Lake. The second development is on the corner of Denton Tap and Bethel Road.
