With increased pressures on tightening on how mortgage companies and investors loan money to home buyers, I believe that that will leave many people to Renting More and for longer periods of time. Why?Some people with specialty loans (e.g., adjustable) will lose their homes because they can't afford refinancing.Some people with imperfect credit will not be able to get into homes.Some people who don't have down payment money will not be able to get in because 100% financed loans appear to be disappearing every day.Sellers who have to sell because of move, have to sell, or other reasons may not be able to sell their homes as quickly as needed/desired for their area.So, Rental Location Service and Property Management will become in greater need.Any thoughts? Okay, we've been through many houses and some of us have seen it all. I did a Realtors' house tour one time, when I use to do them, and came across ahem in this one house. In the Master Bath, there was this chandelier over the bath tub. Geeez, I thought that was only like in Las Vegas, LOL. Today I did a home inspection on a vacant Padre Island house. Left the garage door open and this peacock started strolling in. The peacock wasn't afraid or aggressive at all. Quite friendly within 3 - 4 feet comfort zone distance for the peacock. That was Cool! So, are there still many Realtors out there fooling themselves that the market is great or good? I'm pretty sure that there are a good number still doing great. But... but, for the majority.... I doubt that they're happy paying for their new Beamers, Volvas (yes, I put an "a" instead of an "o")... hehehe., Humdingers, etc. I believe that real estate has hit a recession. Do you recall the Fed Res. lowering the interest rate by 0.5% at one time? How long ago has that been before this recent drop? I don't recall. Do you?
