Every city is unique and has different flavors for fun and excitement. That's what makes visiting most cities so fun and adventuresome. With national real estate markets becoming more competitive for buyers, sellers, many real estate agents are beginning to think about expanding the services they offer and diversifying their areas of expertise. Is this a good or bad decision? Based on personal experience I can answer this question without doubt. Diversification is not the answer for Realtors in any market, especially not a slow or declining one. Unfortunately the opportunities to branch out of our area of expertise only seem to be expanding. Today I can choose to be a home stager, retailer of electricity service providers, limited service brokerage, home inspector, appraiser, webpage developer, or heaven forbid combine real estate with mortgage services (I will go off on that on my next blog). So many x, y and z Realtors and Real Estate agencies out there.I truly appreciate when I come across GOOD Realtors on ActiveRain across the USA who seem to be above the norm: there are many out there. I believe it's worth while for me to start recognizing those individuals when I come across them.Robin Rogers of ActiveRain appear to shine in her business and niche market dealing with rental properties from investment and management. She has years of experience and she's a "can do" person who goes beyond the call of duty as the saying goes.
