Bluffview is an amazing area in north dallas.  It aboads many high dollar homes that have massive lots.  These homes will set you back a bit however the elegance of them is unmatched.  They are truly a beatiful thing to see as many big name Dallas residents can attest to it as they live there themselves.  Bluffview homes for sale start around $500,000 and can go all the way to the millions.  These homes are surronded by preston hollow real estate, as well as highland park homes for sale.   If you wanted to purchase a lot in bluffview much less a home it will set you back alot as well, as yes the house is worth a lot; but it is actually the dirt that brings most of the value.

If you want to get into the Dallas Rental Property business you will need a good realtor who will assist you free of charge and find you the best bang for your buck real estate investment.  When looking for a rental property you should probably look more so at the rehabs, because rehab property gives you the best bet on earning money in most cases.  The number 1 objective is to buy right.  A rule of thumb that I tell my clients is you want it to be well above 1%.  So if you purchase a home that is $100,000 you want to be sure to always keep it rented and get a minimum of $1000 every month.  Dallas investment property is has many good areas where you will find rental deals.  If you want in the $50k range Mesquite Real Estate is a good place to look If you want the $100k range Carrolton R...

I had a very interesting phone conversation earlier this evening.  I was speaking with a prospective client who saw a post I had written about choosing the right real estate agent and the prospective client asked me, “How do figure out who the “right” real estate agent is?” I told her about my 4 C’s approach to evaluating agents.  I always advise people when talking to a prospective agent to look for these 4 things: Competency:  Do they have the right level of experience, education and can they demonstrate that to you? One of the downsides of being on a diet is that my regular blog posts about my favorite local restaurants get sidelined.  Well, this week I cheated a bit and had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Taverna. Taverna was created by local restaurateur Alberto Lombardi and has some of the most wonderful food in town.  It is always fresh, robust and excellently prepared and presented.  The food is not typical pizza/pasta/chicken fare.  It is a more traditional upscale Italian featuring seafood specialties, risottos (my favorite is the parmesan cheese and truffle oil risotto), excellent ,meat entrees including beef tenderloin and (as an occasional special) grilled lamb chops, and authentic thin pizzas. It's a bit annoying, really, when I read in D Magazine who they've named as the Best ....(fill in the blank)...in Dallas.  Best Realtors, Best Attorneys, Best Physicians.  And then when I go to the "Elected's" offices, I see a big copy of that D ad and appointment framed for all to see. And the reason it does is because those appointments appear to be bought.  Along with the "appointment" comes a big full-color picture ad of the winner.  And I know that ad didn't come free, and I'm fairly certain that the deal for appointment and ad purchase were contemporaneous. So who really knows whether they're any good or not? I do think a tax credit for any home buyer is a good idea.  Why not allow the person who is paying their bills to move up, move out, or decide to build on and do this with some assistance, just like the first time home buyers.  If this is a good program for first time home buyers, why isn't it a good idea for all home buyers?  This would provide a stimulation of the economy in so many ways.  The builders, the realtors, the homeowners, the communities, the lumber yards, the box stores to sell more goods and services to put into these new homes, everyonebenefits from a more stabilized economy.  Happy homeowners stabilize our economy.  With prices at a 40 year low now is the time to grab hold of property that will rise back up through the next new economy.  If you can do that because you p...
