Have you ever stood in front of a home and thought, "Wow. With the right owners, and a bit of TLC, this could be a stunning home"? Well, that is the way we feel about the home directly across the street from us. Each morning, when I go out to get the paper, I look at this lovely, 4-Bedroom home equipped with a large island kitchen, curved staircase, family room and media room, and hope that one day it will find the owner it deserves. As an extra bonus, this home comes with great neighbors for whom we can vouch-including ourselves! Our little pocket is a special place that gathers in the fall with BBQs in the street, a bounce house and a visit from our local Frisco Fire Department (the kids love this). A protective bunch, we know everyone's children and keep an eye on our neighbor's home...

Do you want to be our neighbor? There are two homes on the market in our neighborhood. This is a great neighborhood: quiet, lots of kids, U shaped road.  We found it a few years ago when we were looking for a smaller subdivision. One requirement we have for new owners: they must have children who are old enough to baby sit! That is a must! You should check them out:  2242 Crystal Falls, 75034 ·  8533 Ventura Ln. 75034  Geoffrey Davis 214-529-9622  Find out why I am called The Frisco Mortgage Guy! p.s. When I first began working as a mortgage broker the more lenders you were signed up with the more rate sheets you received. A rate sheet is a PDF document from the lender you signed up with - Chase, Wells Fargo or Bank of America, etc. These rate sheets used to be 8 or 10 pages long. There were a variety of transactions and way too many options and programs. To be honest, I don't think the loan officers or brokers even knew what some of the programs were. There was a day when account reps would come to your office about every two or three weeks or so to talk about new programs.  Again, I think that was - and it has been proven - the demise of some of our mortgage industry because with those programs, when their risk category got too aggressive some of those ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage...

I recently learned that a good friend of mine and a Frisco staple is on the move.  With that comes an unbelievable home for sale.  A home that was completely restored years ago and is a landmark of Frisco's past.  Just South of downtown Frisco, you can walk to Randy's Steakhouse.  Hate to see folks move out of my little small town, but glad to have the positive impact they made in this community.  The 2nd home might be a problem for many of you- it is across the street from me.  This is the 2nd time that an investor bought this home out of auction- put a renter in it and then let it go into foreclose.  Thanks for the value help Mr. Investor, jerk.  Be awesome to have a family actually buy and "live" in this home for a change.
