So I was at a listing appointment yesterday and I things went good. The house that we were in that the lady wanted me to sell for her was a great house, with good bones and updated very nicely.  However, I was giving her a listing discount of $1500 + 3% for buyers agent.  It was a really nice home among the garland homes for sale.  This was ok with me, even though I dont normally do it under normal circumstances.  However, she asked me if I bid on HUD homes, which I do.  So I told her yes I do.  Then she asked me if I would bid on one for her for $1500.  I told her I would have to think about it.  As most of you know, when bidding on a HUD homes, you need to have a HUD licensed broker.  Then you get to gauge your commission from 0% - 5%.  It's a lot easier to deal with than bidding on a...

Garland is a beautiful area that is within 5 minutes of Dallas. It has many great aspects in and around its city limits.  Garland also is home to many great rental homes.  Garland houses for rent can be found at a very reasonable rate as well.  Most of the Garland rental homes can be found for only $800/m - $1500/m.  This is an amazing bargain for an area so close to Dallas.
