New Grocery to Open In Horseshoe Bay

Jamail's Fresh Market to start construction next month in Horseshoe Bay The first full service grocery to open in Horseshoe Bay will be located at 9710 W. RM 2147. The grocery will cost about $5M to build and will have 15,800 sqft of space. It will anchor a shopping center that could eventually reach 40,000 square feet, according to Mike Walsh, developer. Jim and Kathy Jamail, along with daughter Paige and her husband, Micah Barnes, will move to the Horseshoe Bay area to operate the market, which will also have a wholesale division serving area restaurants and caterers. Jamail's has been called the best grocery store in America by Texas Monthly magazine in previous years, focuses on fresh produce and has been a fixture in the Houston area for decades.
