Houston World Series of Dog Shows NRG Center will host the Houston World Series of dog Shows on Sunday July 19,2015. The show starts at 8 AM and lasts until 7 PM. I am sorry for late notice but I just found about the show. The show was also held yesterday July 18, 2015. There will be several events in addition to Breed Judging being Agility, Dance, Frisbee, Flyball and Barn-hunt events.Tickets $15 per person 13 years old to 54 years old; $10 per ticket over 55 years old; and free for children 12 years and younger accompanied by an adult.  Nrg Center is located 8400 Kirby Drive , Houston TX.  This is an easy drive from Katy on a Sunday and if you like dogs this is the place to be and you can beat the horrible heat plus have family fun by attending.  Additional details are located at www.... 07/19/2015

July 4, 2015 Freedom Over Texas Patriotic Celebration  The City of Houston presents its annual very special patriotic celebration Freedom Over Texas on July 4, 2015. The celebration is being held at Eleanor Tinsley Park which is along Allen Parkway and just outside downtown Houston. The event starts at 4 PM and lasts until 10 PM. One of primary sponsors this year is Southwest Airlines. This is the twenty-ninth Fourth of July Celebration hosted by the City of Houston. There will be entertainment and lots of cool fireworks. The headliner performers are Houston son and songwriter Mr.Clint Black and double-platinum selling singer and songwriter Mr. Josh Turner.
