  Tractor Supply Hosts Pet Care and Adoption Event   Drop by the Tractor Supply parking lot on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 9 am to 3 pm for pet care and adoption day! The will be dog and puppy adoptions from the Legacy Ranch no-kill shelter, as well as horse, cat, and dog adoptions from the Houston SPCA.     If adoption is not something that your family is able to do right now, bring your own dog as a mobile vet will be there doing vaccinations. Rover can even get a flea and tick bath for FREE.     If your schedule does not allow for you to make it to this event, you can support your Huntsville NO KILL shelter by visiting the Little Women Home for Animals.   Huntsville ISD Required Sports Physicals for Only $20   Sports physicals are a requirement for all students participating in sports at Mance Park Middle School (MPMS) and Huntsville High School (HHS). The good news is, HISD has teamed up with Huntsville Memorial Hospital to provide affordable physicals for these student athletes.   On Friday, May 17, 2013 your MPMS and/or HHS athletes can get their physical at the Paul Bonham Gym located at Huntsville High School.   Elkins Lake Market Report April 2013     Elkins Lake is a lovely neighborhood located in the southern end of Walker County and surrounded by the National Forest. Residents enjoy three 9 hole golf courses, tennis, swimming, a country club, and walking trails.  The streets are winding, and wide -- and my favorite things about Elkin’s Lake are the mature trees and the deer.     It’s no wonder that Elkin’s Lake residents enjoyed 95% of their asking price for closings in April of 2013. For the year, they have an average of 96%. Why did the percentage go down in April? It is my opinion that the list to sales price percentage went down because buyers had more choices in April than they did the first quarter of the year.
