If you were in the right place, at the right time, would you?   This is a real question.  How will you answer this question?  Of course, it all depends upon what we are talking about at any given time, doesn't it? Or does it really? Think about it after you have initially answered the question. If you say "yes", then tell me why you think you would say "yes".  People procrastinate all the time.  They always have excuses why they cannot do something, but most of the time it is simply procrastination or fear that keeps them from moving forward.  Is this happening in your world?  Pinpoint the reasons why your business is stalled and you will find either procrastination or fear. Remove these obstacles and the possibilities are endless. Are you ready to go at a moment's notice?   When the p...

It's a cold day in...You finish the sentence.   :) Is it cold where you are?  The weatherman says most of the United States is under severe weather with records cold temperatures and snow or heavy thunderstorms and tornadoes.  Very bad weather for November!  Winter is not even supposed to be here yet.  Most weather like this occurs in January and February,  so what does that mean for this winter to come? I personally hate cold weather, and the older I get the more it bothers me to be cold.  I love the sunshine and cloudy, gloomy weather is not for my liking.   If you are the same as me, maybe you should think about moving south?  I know the perfect place to be.  It is near the Gulf of Mexico, in case you love walking on a beach.  The fishing is excellent and the bays are large, easy to ...

How many agents take the time to go preview properties?  Our office takes a tour every week of the new listings.  I always go and see the new homes.  It is not time wasted but time invested! There is so much more to a home than pictures or visual tours can show.  It is so much better to see the home in person.  For example, today we visited a home located on 1/2 acre with beautiful oak trees.  This older home has been totally remodeled to include granite countertops, fresh modern color schemes, tile and much more.  Everything about the home is great including the fact you have room to park an RV or boat in the extra large driveway.  Without seeing this home, one could not get the total perspective. The area is close to schools, the fishing bays, small town atmosphere with large city onl...

A light mist of rain is falling on the Texas coast this morning.  The hummingbirds are flying back and forth to the feeders hanging from the back porch.  The lemon tree and the mandarin and the tangelo are sprouting bright white blossoms.  Ring neck doves as big as pigeons find their way to the china berry tree where feeders hang gently swaying in the balmy breeze.  A warm 69 degrees makes it feel like early Spring.  Songbirds sing their songs, other birds chatter in the background.  The Earth is blooming, growing, and changing with each passing day.  Seeds are sprouting. Green blades are popping up everywhere.  Soon all will be green. Carolina jasmine line the fence row with showy yellow blooms.  The coral honeysuckle is a big contrast with fiery orange trumpets.  Caladiums, hosta, bou...
