The Pearland Christmas Parade is a local Christmas season favorite! It will be held this Satuday (December 5th). The parade will start at 6pm and travels a route along FM 518 from Pearland Parkway to Old Alvin Road. Every year the parade brings out tons of area families to watch local businesses and groups compete for prizes. This year's theme is "Candy-Coated Christmas." Floats are entered by individuals and businesses and they will be judged on their creativity in representing the theme. The Pearland HomeTeam needs your help in gatherng supplies for the Pearland Neighborhood Center Baby Supply Drive!The Pearland Neighborhood Center is vital in our community. They provide food and necessities to families in need in our area.  Every year, the Pearland HomeTeam gathers baby supplies for the PNC.  This year, we want to exceed our donation size from last year but we need your help to do so! Please bring baby wipes, formula, diapers, baby food, clothing and blankets to our office at 2435 Broadway Street and we will deliver them to the PNC on October 2.  I was visiting a model home in Pearland recently, and stumbled across these lovely natural wood art pieces. The Ryland model home in the Highland Glen Subdivision was beautifully decorated, and these art pieces stood out to me. My brother loves working with wood, so I took these pictures to show him, hoping he would make something similar for me. I like them so much, I decided to share them with you, too! Enjoy!    By the way, new construction homes in Highland Glen in Pearland are priced in the mid $200,000's to the upper $300,000's. Checking on a build in Pearland Estates. This is a Meritage home and so far it is looking good. The foundation passed the inspections and most of the frame is up. The roof is being added very soon. Once they are about to hang the sheetrock, I will need to coordinate the frame inspection so we can catch anything the builder might have overlooked. Check out our new home buying videos.
