Something is wrong. Terribly wrong. Last Spring, we represented a Buyer client on a transaction that qualified as possibly the worst title experience EVER.... A few days prior to the contracted closing date, our agent received a blank digital closing package with instructions that consisted of "sign and return" only.  She called me with concerns, as our Buyer had never received title commitment from the escrow officer prior to receiving this closing package. Upon investigation, we also found multiple errors on the preliminary HUD-1 and with the closing documents: 1. No title commitment received from escrow officer prior to receipt of the closing package 2. Emailed closing package with only "sign & return" instructions 3.     Places to live in Texas besides Plano for California Toyota Transfers Toyota, as you may know, is establishing a new headquarters in Plano, Texas for its North American operations.  They want to better serve customers and position Toyota for sustainable, long-term growth.   Within the next three years, Toyota’s three separate North American headquarters for manufacturing, sales and marketing, and corporate operations will relocate to a single campus in Plano, TX.  Toyota’s North American finance arm also plans to move its headquarters to this new shared campus. New Construction homes in Plano Texas While most of the city is built out, there are still a few places in Plano for home builders to build brand new homes.  The housing boom in Plano Texas really started in the mid-1970s, and then continued at a rapid pace until the late-1990s.  While we were still building after the millennium, the pace was just a bit slower than it had been in the past (as many people started looking north to Frisco, Allen, and McKinney where prices were a bit lower)...but the real estate market was still strong in Plano until around 2007-2008.  Of course, the real estate market slowed down across the country around that time. Plano Balloon Festival 2014 Each year, Plano Texas becomes the Hot Air Balloon Capital of Texas!  No surprise this year that a great event is planned.  On September 19th, we kick off the 35th Annual Plano Balloon Festival at Oak Point Park.    This weekend-long event begins at 4:00pm Friday, September 19th and ends September 21st.  This annual event is held at Oak Point Park, 2801 E.
