Believe me, I know we all like to see "how low can they go", but there does come a point when demand increases and in turn prices start working their way back up.  Sometimes this is gradual and other times it happens quickly.  My opinion is that we have seen decreases and prices are better now than I can ever remember them.  Mortgage rates are also amazing.  In recent research it was determined that based on house prices and mortgage rates, cost of living right now is comparable to what it was 20-30 years ago.  While other things have increased, prices on homes have increased, milk, bread, gas, etc - because of low interest rates you are not paying any more in payment than you would have many years ago.  The time to take advantage of this is NOW!
