This time of year is nice for several reasons. The grass is greener. My real estate market is busy. And the art festivals are in full swing! A few weeks ago I blogged that I love my day off. In that I basically said while we try to take a day off, at some point on my day off at an art festival sipping lemonade and eating a corny dog, we'd be talkin' business -- real estate. It just happens! I am here to tell you I was right, it did happen! I then blogged again about Two Men and a Truck and I'm not sure I said it, but that was a subsequent move to the time I spent with that friend at the art festival. It just makes me laugh... some things are predictable. So, I am headed to yet another art festival. And, yes, I hope "my day off" turns into another real estate chit chat. That's ok. I can not imagine living anywhere else in the DFW area! Nice people, reasonable housing costs, reasonable property tax's, beautiful neighborhoods. Close to DFW airport to be convenient to all of the DFW metroplex, Easy Highway access. Since we are north of the airport, and the majority of the "wind" in Texas comes in from the south, we seldom have planes taking off (the noisiest part of planes) over our heads. I have lived in the DFW area for over 9 years. We love living and shopping in Flower Mound. We like to shop and eat out in Southlake which is just over the grapevine damn and down hwy 26. 01/10/2009
