Garden Park Estates is one of the older subdivisions in Enoch.  Enoch, as I have mentioned in other blogs is about 5 miles North of Cedar City.  It is a great place to live, it has larger lots so your neighbors aren't right on top of you, and it gives you room to have your children play.  Garden Park Estates is sort of an eclectic subdivision, there are manufactured homes next door to "stick built" homes.  It was a subdivision that was started in the 1970's, but took until the 1990's to build out as far as it is now.  Again, these homes are on the "Enoch Half Acre lot size".  That really means that the lots were originally 1/2 acre lots, then the roads were platted taking from that half acre size until they are really about .44 to .46 of an acre lots. The Owen Evan Estates is smaller in scale subdivision in Enoch.  It is tucked away between a couple of other subdivision so that you would think that it was actually a part of one or the other.  Enoch, is unique in that all of the homes start out with .4 of acre lots or bigger.  We call the lots in Enoch, the Enoch half acre, they are usually .44 or larger.  Owen Evan Estates is no different. The Trails West Subdivision in Enoch is a great subdivision, it consists mainly of ranch style homes that would be considered in the upper end of starter type homes. There are some homes that in the move up type of homes.  Trails West is located near the Enoch City Hall in Enoch. Currently there are 7 homes listed for sale in The Trails West Subdivision ranging from $107K to $214,900. Enoch is another of the cities that we work in.  Enoch is just 5 miles North of Cedar City.  The fields is a newer subdivision in Enoch.  These are larger first time or family style homes.  They are typically on .5 of an acre.  This subdivision was built around 2005 to 2007. There are still many lots to choose from here as well.  These homes offer great views of the mountains, and are in a very quiet subdivision.  They are near the Gateway Prepatory Academy, a charter school here.  There is currently one home for sale in our MLS at $199,900. Enoch, like Cedar City has a Legacy Estates subdivision, also like Cedar City, these homes are "Mc Mansions."  These are gorgeous homes built on .5 of an acre or larger.  This subdivision was started in 2007, there are still lots available to build you own dream home on. These are the Third Quarter Sales Statistics for the City of Enoch and the unicorporated parts of Iron County that are addressed on the Cedar City grid.  There are some nice trends tracking with these numbers we have climbed almost back to the 2007 sales volume numbers.  As you can see, the prices have started to climb back up as well.  This is a good trend.   The Days on Market have significantly increased. I have been a little slack in my blogging this week.  I have been putting together blogs about the many great churches that we are blessed to have in our community.  Today I have spread out a little and gone into Enoch, which is 5 miles North of Cedar City.  The first that I am highlighting is the Valley Bible Church. Both of these churches are easy to get to off of Old Highway 91.

Continuing with the series that we started we are continuing with The Parks at Deer Hollow.  It is in Enoch which is North of Cedar City about 5 miles.  It is a new subdivision with just a few homes that have been built.  It is a subdivision where you can bring your own builder, there are CC&R's but it is very nice, there is to be a lake, a park and it is near a newly constructed Elementary School.  There are 3 homes listed(through another office) in the subdivision.  They range from $169K to $239K and are on lots of .15 acres. I am continuing my little series of Towns that we work in here in Iron County.  Enoch is an interesting city, originally a group of farms with few houses, it has become more or less a little bedroom community of Cedar City.  Which is unique, as Cedar City isn't really that large of a city.  It is also unique as it is one the one community that is situated West of Interstate 15.  Cedar City has part of the city West of the Interstate, but it has spread that direction.
