Memory Grove Park is dedicated to the memory of Utah residents who fought and died in the World Wars. It is located at the mouth of City Creek Canyon, just east of the State Capitol. Tucked away and hidden, Memory Grove Park features beautiful water and grass areas and lots of trees and plants. It is a great place to picnic with the family read a book or take an adventurous stroll with your pooch in the amazing off leash portion of the park. It is also a popular place for photographers to shoot bridal and engagement photos. With water features everywhere - running water, spouting water, musical water. And of course, City Creek (lifeline of Utah pioneers) restored, complete with fish. City Creek Mall is a two level complex that follows the creek for several blocks, accentuating the waterway's natural turns.
