Being new to the Blog so to speak I will make an attempt to give you a current picture of the market in Cape Charles and the Eastern Shore of Virginia in general.  The Shore is made up of two counties Accomac and Northampton.  The Atlantic Ocean touches the East side and the Chesapeake Bay touches the west side.  Cape Charles is near the southern tip of Northampton and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel connects us to Va Beach and the rest of Virginia.  The market in Cape Charles for the year has slowed considerably.  There are 300 victorians in this old rail road town.  Prices range from the low 100's to a million or more along the beachfront.  The town has a downtown, 7 or 8 active restaurants, fishing pier, boat ramps, marina, beach and a relaxed lifestyle that allows me to tell fo... 02/05/2007
