This is a great contest for the season of Thanksgiving! 1. Closed sales in Williamsburg Virginia for the first week of  November 2014. Yesterday I posted a blog with information on the closed sales in the Williamsburg area for the first week of November 2015.  I thought it would be interesting to compare the sales with those of the first week of November 2014. Last year there were 15 closed sales versus 11 closed sales this year. On Friday, I sat duty for another agent.  During the floor duty a couple came in with their two younger children.  They were interested in possibly leasing or selling their home as they are being transferred to California. I met with them on Saturday morning to view the house and talk about marketing strategy.    They signed all the listing paper work on Sunday.  I took a few pictures of the house and today the listing goes into the MLS! Now all I need is a buyer. 10/26/2015

I recently reblogged a Speechless Sunday blog post by Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905.  It was a picture of a crane in the clouds.  In the comments I said that cranes were not something we often see in Williamsburg.  Well last night I went to the park by the ferry near Jamestown to take pictures of the sunset over the James River and what to my wondering eyes did appear?  A crane near the ferry.  I was trying to capture a picture of the half moon which was in the upper left hand corner of the original picture.
