Last week, we visited Yorktown, Virginia, which is the site where the British surrendered ending the Revolutionary War. After walking around the monument and the pretty town, we went down to the waterfront. And there she was! A three masted tall ship called The Alliance. Now she looks really, really old. But the ship was actually built in 1995. She has been sailing ib the York River for the last seven years. You can hop aboard for one of her several cruises a day or even charter the boat for a special occassion. Hmm. Think th4e captain performs weddings?
