According to the N.A.R., existing home sales in the U.S. jumped 10% in September.  Estimates show 4.5 million homes being sold for the month.  While that's a significant increase from August, it's still significantly off from the home sales last year in the same month. One important factor to remember, however, is that the home buyer tax credit was initially set to expire in November of last year, so September and October of 2009 had unusually high volumes of sales, while the following December/January were alternately sparse.  Overall sales numbers from last year to this year had a much smaller drop. Bridle Trails State Park, a 482-acre day-use park, is well-known for its horse trails and equestrian shows. The forested park is on the northeast edge of the Seattle metropolitan area. The houses around Bridle Trails State Park on the South End are in "Bridle Trails Kirkland", while those to the west and north of the park are in "Bridle Trails Bellevue.  It's always a treat when you can ride by homes on large lots with horses grazing out front as you drive to work each day.  It always brightens my day.  The beauty of the Seattle Area is boundless, everywhere you turn you are faced with an amazing mountain view, water view, or equally amazing scenery.  Bridle Trails State Park is on the Eastside, across Lake Washington from Seattle.  AKA The Microsoft side.   01/24/2007
