The Summit at Columbia Vista - Camas Washington Neighborhood of the Week Each week, we feature one of the many great neighborhoods nestled in the hills and meadows around Camas, Washington. We think Camas offers its residents a great lifestyle, with the charm of small-town living, and access to the big city amenities of nearby Portland, Oregon.  Washington has no state income tax and that makes it popular with both young families, and retirees. However, be forewarned, Camas does have some of the highest local taxes in Clark County. Those of us who live here don't mind.
