 Life is different when you live in a rural area. We moved from a suburban neighborhood nearly four years ago, to the hills between Camas and the Washougal river.  The lifestyle is wonderful, but since neighbors don't live close-by, communication takes place differently. A Facebook group for Rural Camas and Washougal is a great resource for residents to report a lost pet, or livestock, slippery roads, cougar or bear sightings, and power outages, to name a few.   Things you often take for granted in the suburbs, or urban areas, can be non-existent in the country.  Country living doesn't always come with the usual expectations. For example, public water and sewer. Instead, many of the rural properties located in Camas and Washougal, Washington are on septic and have wells. Not a bad thing... 03/06/2019

Home Sales Rebound for Camas WA in January 2019 Camas WA Homes for sale bounced back this month with higher unit-sales, along with the Average Sales Price returning to the long-term average level. Last night, while talking to mom, it became obvious she was looking past me at some sight beyond the windows in our great room. Seeing the source of her distraction, I grabbed my cell phone and ran out to the deck. We got a kick out of watching Mac in the snow a few weeks ago. He wasn't used to his paws sinking into inches of cold, wet stuff.  Although, as you can tell by all the paw trails through the snow, the resident dogs wandered and explored throughout much of the day.    There's more snow in the forecast for Camas, Washington in the coming week, but we're hoping it doesn't pile up as much this time.  Spring is just around the corner, right?
