I’ve heard tell they aren’t the bluest. It just seems that way because you don’t see them that often. In November that can be so true. Case in point, yesterday I was headed up to the Wallingford neighborhood to attend a Personal Safety Class at Cooper Jacobs Real Estate. Yep, that’s our own AR blogger Courtney Cooper’s office. On my way from Renton earlier the rain was pounding, the wind was blasting, visibility was about 200 feet at best, and the traffic... ah yes, the traffic. I’ll leave that one simply at, weird as usual when it rains in Seattle. Go figure... Barbie Van Horn and I met at our Eastlake Office then headed up around the north end of Lake Union to Courtney’s office when the rain suddenly stopped, the sun came out and indeed, the bluest skies you’ve ever seen! I’m looking ...

Wallingford has always been a popular Seattle neighborhood - it is actually where our main office is located in Seattle.  We like the easy location  - close to pretty much all the neighborhoods we work in just North of Lake Union, South of Green Lake, and just West of I-5.   Wallingford has pretty much a mix of something for everyone and is a wonderful place to live and work in Seattle!   Here is what for is for sale in Wallingford right now:

Heard about the Triple Bottom Line in Green Building techniques and haven't seen a real life example? Well here you go. . . . Home 'spotted' in Wallingford, WashingtonBy Cooper Jacobs BrokersThere's a remodel in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle underway with an obvious sense of humor. Green Canopy Home's latest endeavor has the moniker of  "Keaton" after the famous actor Buster.  If you aren't familiar with this company, they are 'house flippers'.  While this might have a negative connotation to some, this partnership has a unconventional business plan.  They look for existing homes throughout Seattle to improve and spruce up just like ordinary investors do.  What they do differently isn't always easily apparent. Sure they add the usual bells and whistles buyers look for, but the...
