Few things in life are better than watching your own kids participate in athletic competition. Especially when their team wins!.... Alright, I know, winning isn't everything,.... but it sure beats losing!.... For the past several years, our youngest son, Luke, has played football. He was involved in our local Silverdale Pee Wee Football league for 3 years. In his last year, he was the starting quareterback. When he played for Central Kitsap Junior High here in Silverdale WA, he was fortunate to earn the starting quarterback postion for both his 8th and 9th grade years. Now in his first year at Central Kitsap High School, things are a bit different. The school is larger, there are more students, and sports are much more competitive. There are two teams - the Varsity Squad, and the Junior...

Although I have always been a very faithful voter and take that privilege quite seriously, I’ve never felt overly passionate about a particular issue enough to warrant penning any correspondence. Until now..... To find out what issue prompted such a response, go to SOUNDBITEBLOG. ~    o    ~    o    ~    o    ~    o    ~    o    ~    o    ~ Rich Jacobson is a licensed real estate professional providing knowledgeable empowerment and relentless representation for his clients of residential properties and vacant land throughout all of Kitsap County WA and portions of Pierce, Mason, and Jefferson Counties. When we moved from the Midwest 6 years ago, and relocated to the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula, surrounded by the picturesque waters of the Puget Sound, we were relieved to learn that the Winters here weren't as extreme as what we had experienced back in Kansas.Granted, we do have some pretty consistent rainfall that stretches over several months. But the winters are indeed relatively mild.Until the last couple of years....Last year, here in Silverdale WA, we got snowed in for several days, and were stranded without power for almost as long. Then yesterday, the flakes started coming down. They were HUGE!...My middle son, Elliot, was totally stoked! He was born in Chicago, and spent most of his childhood growing up in the Midwest. He had missed the snow since moving to Washington, and was e...
