Substantial Home Sales Drop Combined with Very Low Inventory as Vancouver Washington Closes-out 2017 The previous two months showed the typical seasonal decline however in December we saw 100 fewer homes sell than we did in 2016. Highlights for December 2017 Vancouver WA Home Sales include: 346 Resale Homes were sold in December 2017, which is 100 fewer (-22.4%) homes than were sold in December 2016.   The 3-Month Moving Average Price Trend Line is 9.62% higher than the prior year; with the 12-Month Moving Average now up 10.32%.  Short Sale /Pre-Foreclosure property sales were 2 units (0.6% of total); down from December 2016's 4 (0.9% of total). Reasonably Good Sales Level Despite Low Inventory for Vancouver Washington Home Sales in November 2017 The typical seasonal slowing this month was not too terribly noticeable, as we are still in a strong Seller's Market. Highlights for November 2017 Vancouver WA Real Estate Sales include: 407 Resale Homes were sold in November 2017, which is 12 fewer (-2.9%) homes than were sold in November 2016.   The 3-Month Moving Average Price Trend Line is now 10.54% higher than the prior year; with the 12-Month Moving Average now up 10.58%.  Short Sale /Pre-Foreclosure property sales were 2 units (0.5% of total); down from November 2016's 3 (0.7% of total). Modest Rebound Condo Sales for Vancouver WA in November 2017! Big Drop in Closed Condo Sales for Vancouver WA in October 2017! Overall for the year Condo sales are at a record pace for units-sold.
