Vancouver's Home Sales Again Made a Modest Upward Move this Month, While Inventory Also Moves Up in March 2018 This month posted an increase in closed sales from the prior month but, compared to March 2017 we are 46 units short. Key points for Real Estate and Home Sales in Vancouver include: 335 Resale Homes were sold in March 2018, which is 46 fewer (-12.1%) homes than were sold in March 2017.   The 3-Month Moving Average Price Trend Line is 11.21% higher than the prior year; with the 12-Month Moving Average now up 10.32%.  Short Sale /Pre-Foreclosure property sales were 3 unit (0.9% of total); down from March 2017's 8 (2.1% of total). Here are some Arts and Cultural Events for the weekend of 4-21/22 you may not have seen a notice for:   On April 21, 2018 at 4:00pm the Clark County Music Teachers Association is presenting a benefit concert to help raise scholarship funds for local music students (John's parents were both music teachers so, I thought it best to put this one first!).  This is a free concert however, Donations are welcome as this is a great cause in addition to being audience to a performance by a collection of the best music students in our area.  On April 21st from 10:00 am to Noon at Fort Vancouver the Annual Chief Redheart Memorial Ceremony is being held.  This free event (Donations welcome) honors the Nez Perce Nation and their role in the history and present for our community. Once again our team and our office is sponsoring another location of the First Friday Art Walk for April in Vancouver WA.  This April 6th, 2018 is much anticipated as the Spring season has officially arrived, and we expect reasonably good, seasonal weather. This month's featured local artist is Vicki Hastay. She is a retired local teacher that Kat Zander has met at Class at Clark College.  All of her Original works on display will be available for sale. Good Up-Tick in Condo Sales for Vancouver WA in February 2018! Condo sales have shown a good improvement in unit-volume this month, with Active Inventory improving slightly as well. Home Sales Show an Upward Move this Month, While Very Low Inventory Keeps the Move Moderate for Vancouver Washington in February 2018 This month posted an increase in closed sales over February 2017. Another Big Drop in Home Sales and Continued Very Low Inventory as Vancouver Washington Starts 2018 Although not as big of a decline as we saw in January, this month we saw 43 fewer homes sell than in January the prior year. Slow Condo Sales month for Vancouver WA in December 2017! This final month of the year saw another low closed-sales-tally; in fact, this was the second lowest number recorded in the past 12 months. We're working with two couples who have decided it's time for one-level living.
