In a day and an age when we work hard, and I mean really hard, why is it that we have to shake our heads in disbelief, and wonder what it takes to get others on the same page? Hence, there still are times in the Waukesha County Real estate market that I see the emergence of the Proverbial Dog and Pony Show. A few examples:1.) I go and reconfirm my appointment an hour away. "Now I am on my way and it's my intention to list your property. Is that your intention as well?" I get there and no one there. I shake my head. I get a hold of the seller later that day and they say "Something came up, can we make it another time?" No, we cant! When I was younger and would hang out with my grandmother driving her nuts she would often suggest I go mow the yard, pull weeds, or do some physical work so I could appreciate a good days work. Often I would look in her refrigerator for food and comment that her ice box should be colder. Often I make reference to many of all the great things one can do in the Kettle Moraine area. It was not too long ago someone asked "Hey Tom Braatz, what is a Kettle Moraine?" The Waukesha County Real Estate market has lots of history. On Maple avenue in the City of Waukesha sits the remnants of the Fox Head brewery, and people are pulling together to save the building. The City of Waukesha is famous for it's water. The water was bottled by the Whiterock beverage company and the Whiterock beverage company was renowned for it. Of course it also bottled soda, and other soda companies followed suite as well in Waukesha such as Bon Ton and Roxo. Interesting trivia is the original concept of Santa Claus in that suit was not a credit to Coca-Cola but the honor belongs to The Whiterock Beverage company.
