 In celebration of their 10th year anniversary, Little Black Box, the area’s only boutique shop dedicated to bras, is asking the public to once again help with their yearly “Bra-raising drive.” Owner Ginger Steele-Giggenbach said the need for bras for those less fortunate is a topic that isn’t talked about very much. “Ladies, stop for just a moment and think about not having a bra and then couple that with the inability to even pay for a new bra,” Steele said. “Now go check in your dresser drawer and when you find that bra that you’ve never used or only used once because it doesn’t fit right, bring it to me.” Steele-Giggenbach will launder the bras and deliver them them to appropriate locations throughout the county. The Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT) 23rd Annual Art Auction is Saturday, July 15. The Art Auction is GVT’s largest annual fundraiser, featuring donations from prominent local artists and generous patrons, each of which goes toward fulfilling GVT’s mission of providing quality year-round theatre.   Bruce Macdonald's art exhibit is at the Cooper Gallery.  I attended Bruce Macdonald's art exhibit and reception held at Cooper Gallery on First Friday, July 7th. The exhibit was free and opened to the public. Two paintings were sold while I was there. The exhibit is still on display.  Bruce Macdonald says "barns tell stories and they speak to me.
