Found at Carport Sale!What are these things?  Seller responded they were tee markers.  I had never seen or heard of a "tee marker."  Question time!  I asked several folks about how they were used and I am still not sure but intrigued. But the interesting thing was their being from our popular golf course at River Oaks Subdivision in Searcy AR.  I remember the creation of that fabulous new subdivision around the 1990's and folks were so proud to get a golf course surrounded by beautiful homes.  It is all still lovely and there is a little restaurant called The Landing with it now.  BUT!  Evidently the tee markers don't work so well and are no longer used and these provide a good memory of The Course at River Oaks. I called up the operator of The Landing and asked him about them and he sa... 09/03/2026

About Trump’s Voter List Executive Order Trump’s executive order on election integrity has created confusion about voter rolls, citizenship lists, and mail ballots. A careful review shows that the order does not give the president or the Department of Homeland Security direct control of a state’s voter-registration system.States still manage their own voter rolls under state law. DHS is directed to create and share state-by-state citizenship lists using federal records. Those lists could help officials compare information, but a mismatch would not automatically prove that a voter is ineligible. There are multiple ways to explore the Going to the Sun Road (GTTS) of Glacier National Park (GNP). GTTS Road is the 50 mile road that traverses between the East and West entrances of the Park. From the west, it travels past Lake McDonald and McDonald Creek, then goes up 3,400 feet through the mountains to Logan Pass, and then down 1,800 feet to the East entrance. Because the roads are narrow and require careful driving, it takes approximately two hours to traverse the road in one direction, and much more time if you're going to want to stop.
