Yesterday I went to Canter's, a well know Jewish Deli in Los Angeles.  Just to be clear, when I am near it, and conducting Real Estate I make it my time to stop and get some delicatessen or desert and have been doing it for the past 26+ years. A little history, The Canter family originally opened a deli in Jersey City, N.J in 1924 and came to California after World War Two around 1948.  Since the Fairfax District of West Hollywood has been predominantly consisting of a larger Jewish population, they decided to move and open a Deli there. Then after their success they expanded and moved to a better location and added a restaurant. If you ever wanted a perfect Matzo Ball Soup, take my word Canter's is the place. The sad part is what is going on in Israel today, it had a negative effect here...

Photographers!  Look at this great historic picture.  It shows probably all of the employees of Wood Freeman Lumber in Searcy AR.  On the trucks it gives the phone number as 446, Searcy and looks as if E. W. 's was 3200 and O. W. 's was 5000.  Last names must be provided by Searcy Sleuths.  See why I love photographers!Artists!  Look at this beautiful Phyllis Alexander print!  A little girl with her loving pet.  "The little dog laughed to see such sport" is written at the bottom.  Phyllis Alexander is one of Searcy's best artists and painted so many portraits of children in Searcy.  This one is reportedly one of her daughters.Collectors!!  Terry Williams, another one of Searcy's best artists, also collects!  He has been collecting for years and years and this weekend folks are invited...

Hey everyone! I’m back with another gem from Utah that you absolutely have to know about  — Evermore Park in Pleasant Grove! This place is not just a park; it’s a whole new world that’s just a short drive from Provo. And let me tell you, it’s the kind of adventure that sticks with you.Last time I visited Evermore, it was like stepping straight into a fantasy novel. Picture a land where knights, elves, and dragons aren’t just in books or movies, but right there in front of you. It’s a blend of Renaissance fair, theme park, and live-action role-playing, all rolled into one incredible experience.Evermore is a place where every corner tells a story. You’ve got the old European village, the mystical gardens, and the spooky haunted woods. But it’s not just about looking around — you get to be ...

Lucky me! I had a window seat on a Chartered Bus and saw this amazing architectural art on the wall of a building near the UNT Dallas College of Law. The three-dimensional historical artistic representation was designed to pop off the building to get your attention! Why this post on Friday? Because Friday is Why Day. When it comes to learning, I am always interested in exploring eye-popping learning opportunities!Upon arrival at the UT Dallas College of Law Center I had to sit on the bus with everyone else to wait for security clearance to enter the building. The architectural features could easily be appreciated with its symetrical front facade, columns, dentils, cornice, and the architect's attention to details. A trip to the UNT Dallas College of Law Center is a privilege. Attending ...

I am so grateful for my clients who allowed me to get this award. As most of you know I am a workaholic. When I am not working, then I am cooking or shopping for the next meal and when I am not cooking then I am on Active Rain.Thank you Debe Maxwell, CRS  to inspire me to write a gratefulness post. As I mentioned I could be writing these posts every day. Now with that said, I received an email from our Office, and they wanted to Congratulate me for a job well done.Well in all fairness I seldom go in the office and when we have meetings I do it on Zoom. At least that is how it has been for the past three plus years thanks to the Pandemic Shutdown. I have not been to the awards ceremony gatherings now or for the past three years. Keep in mind I get awards every year. There are a few other...
