As your local trusted real estate agent, let's bust these myths! 1. While interest rates plummeted in 2021, giving younger generations a potentially skewed perspective on what rates are considered typical, interest rates are a lot lower today than they were 20+ years ago.2. With a variety of loan programs available today, including first-time buyer programs and more, there are options for 10%, 5% or even 0% down.3. While a higher credit score is always preferred, some loan programs accept scores as low as 500. A higher down payment, mortgage insurance, or credit repair programs can all help get you across the line. While there are factors that make home buying harder these days the right agent and loan officer can help you overcome any hurdles you're concerned about. There’s a misconception Wall Street is buying all the homes on the market. But data proves that isn’t true. Experts agree the share of homes bought by investors is declining – and most are smaller investors, like your neighbor who owns a second home, not Wall Street. No matter what you’ve heard, the majority of homes are still being purchased by everyday homebuyers like you – not big investors. OK, this is the time of the year when families accross America sit at the dinner table together to give thanks to our Lord for blessings we have had in the past, now and into the future. If you are one of those Grandpas or Dads that like to "tell a story of Thanksgiving" before eating or after. Here is the story of the REAL first Thanksgiving and I am not descibing the more well known Pilgrims.Of course, this is the time of year when we think of the Pilgrims in the year 1620 and thanking God for the beginnings of our Country in the "New World". However, even before that momentous event in 1620 we should also give thanks for a much earlier "Thanksgiving" 500 years ago in the current day United States in Arizona in 1540 which was 80 years before the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock in 162...

The Greenville, SC market is serving up some interesting moves this month! New listings saw a tiny dip, down 0.9% to 1,860, while pending sales took a nosedive, dropping 30.7%. On the flip side, inventory surged by a jaw-dropping 35.3%, with 4,948 homes now waiting for buyers. It’s like the shelves are fully stocked, but shoppers are browsing instead of buying. Prices are softening too, with the median sales price sliding 3.1% to $314,900, and homes are hanging out on the market for 54 days on average—that’s a 28.6% increase. With 3.8 months of inventory now available, the market is creeping toward balance, giving buyers a bit more breathing room. Nationally, the story’s a bit different. According to the National Association of Realtors, there are 1.39 million homes for sale—up 23% from...
