I haven't seen that much lately on here. It could be because on other forum's, the person got some negative comments.
Oh...a cyber stalker. Never thought of that.
I don't know why people do it. I would never do it and I don't like when others do it.
Sometimes it is also because the person will do a re-blog and they want you to go to the original author and leave a comment there. And, I agree with what the others said as well.
Michael... more posts have been written in AR on this issue than I can count and we are all always scratching our heads as to why people do it.
These folks are extending to you a courtesy of letting you know they have no intention of following up with any questions or comments posted. That way, no one gets disappointed. To leave the comments open suggest the writer accepts some responsibility to read others comments.
OR.....the writer may be sitting home, in sock clad feet, distressing why no one ever comments on their well structured, content rich postings. Perhaps touching base with them via other outlets (telephone) would serve multiple purposes.
