It sounds to me like you did the right thing. Your local MLS probably has a rule about it, and you might want to look into that.

I sure wish I had an answer to your question as to why agents behave the way they do without thinking about how their behavior reflects on all of us.

Cindy Davis that's right thing to do anyways - consumers are smarter than agents and they would know about it!

Expired listings are often ready for a second try, apparently the agents did not know that you still had the listing.

I know what you're saying is true Annette Lawrence ...I just hate it. In this case the seller is an older woman with an abundance of health challenges...and it really upset her.

Oh Cindy, you know why.

Any newbie or agent in the grip of scarcity will ask, "How can I get listings."  And all your peers shout, hunt down expired, canceled any MLS listing that goes off market and is not SOLD.

It appears from your experience, agents in San Diego have a pack dog mentality. They don't read they react and are more than ready to throw you under the bus.

Turns the public off to REALTORS! Say it ain't so!!!  How many lead followup plan have we enrolled in that are in essence a 'hunt them like a pack of dogs' until they surrender. And it turns the public off? Who could have imagined.

It starts with the KW dialing for dollars program. Would you say those who participate are reaping benefits or frustration?

The reality is these callers, if mature, operate from SWSWSWSW.

It's just business.

Next time TOM first.

What is the penalty $$$ for calling a number on the DNC registery?
