Easy. I embrace everyone with trust, love and care. Yet, I need my personal space and very clear about my values. Being honest and know who you makes building business and personal relationships easy.
Working on it - with only our time and skills to produced a living, setting boundaries is important.
I am, admittedly, HORRIBLE at setting boundaries up front. I will give a mile at a time only to realize they have taken far more. I'm working on it!
1) I expect people to operate on a basis of fairness and respect, so I can't say I actually have pre-set boundaries. However, with clients I do give them boundaries on my time. 2) When a person does not meet my expectations I tell them straight up "That is not acceptable". I've done this in relationships, with the kids, and in business. I just do not allow to be disrepected or have my no drama life upset. I am polite but stern. It works for me.
1. Good 2. Great I learned a long time ago you need to set boundaries or clients will call you @ midnight.
I think I learned that quite well, and enforce it verbally, if need be.
